In arguably the worst loss under Ed Cooley, the Friars (8-3) fell to the BC Eagles (6-5) 71-68. In a game that PC should have taken easily, only Bryce Cotton showed up, scoring 33 of PC’s 68 points. After tying the Eagles 36-36 in the first half, I thought PC would bury BC in the second half, but I was wrong. PC let BC hang around long enough to lose it in the end. Kadeem Batts fouled out with around five minutes left, allowing Ryan Anderson (24 points) to be the difference down the stretch. PC will now face in-state foe Brown University on Friday at 7pm.
