PC (13-11, 5-7) defeated USF (10-14, 1-11) Wednesday night, notching their third straight Big East win, their longest winning streak in-conference this season. The Friars were led by four scorers in double figures; Kadeem Batts (24 points), LaDontae Henton (19 points), Bryce Cotton (13 points), and Vincent Council (11 points). After trailing at the half by 11 points, the Friars came out of the locker room like a completely different team, starting the second half on a 23-2 run and never looking back. PC was able to get Batts touches on the offensive end consistently down the stretch, allowing the Friars to establish a comfy lead. Henton led the Friars with seven rebounds, while Batts pulled down six boards of his own. The Friars will look to carry their confidence and momentum into Saturday, when PC hosts conference rival Notre Dame at 12:00pm at the Dunk.
