PC (14-11, 6-7) will travel to #8 Syracuse (21-4, 9-3) tomorrow night to take on Jim Boeheim’s first place Orange, in search of their fifth straight Big East win. The Friars have been led by Kadeem Batts over their four-game win streak, who has played like a man amongst boys. Bryce Cotton, who continues to lead the Big East in scoring, has also played a crucial role chipping in on the offensive end, along with Vincent Council, who captured the PC all-time assist record last game and could very well pass the Big East assist mark at Syracuse tomorrow night, as he only needs three. Syracuse is led by Michael Carter-Williams (12.6 ppg, 8.0 apg), Brandon Triche (14.9 ppg, 3.7 apg), and C.J. Fair (14.0 ppg, 7.2 rpg). Syracuse is undefeated at home this season, with a 15-0 record. However, PC may be the hottest team in the conference right now, with maybe the exception of Georgetown, and if any team has a legitimate chance to give the Orange their first home loss, it could very well be the Friars.
