Paschal Chukwu Kaleb Joseph
Ed Cooley continues to show why he is a force on the recruiting scene, bringing in and hosting two more big-time recruits on Wednesday.
Center Paschal Chukwu and point guard Kaleb Joseph were both on campus yesterday for unofficial visits, as Cooley looks to continue to bring in high quality players to better his program. Chukwu and Joseph, who are both in the class of 2014, have also been named in ESPN100 as top players for their class.
Chukwu, a 7-1 Westport, Connecticut native, has been labeled the top player in his state and 58th overall in ESPN100. He has drawn interest from the Friars, Boston College, Notre Dame, Connecticut, and Texas, but hasn’t received any official offers as of yet.
Joseph, a 6-3 Nashua, New Hampshire native, is also rated the top player in his state and 51st overall in ESPN100. Joseph, on the other hand, has received 13 official offers, with some of the bigger schools being Georgetown, Syracuse, Marquette, and Maryland.
The Friars are hoping to bring in a huge recruiting class from the class of 2014, as PC has already made offers to small forward Jalen Lindsey (32nd in ESPN100) and power forward and Boston native Abdul-Malik Abu (44th in ESPN100).
